My childhood friend and I chased lizards -- until one day! The lizard left its tail in my fingers, and I pretty much quit the hunt after that.
This photo does bring back memories. Our neighborhood was filled with critters to capture and explore.

Those are the little guys who make so much noise at night... so cute!
The frog is so tiny.
We had spring peepers that were probably as small, though we rarely saw them.
